Marquette – Pinot Noir of the North

We have high hopes for the Marquette grape, so we’re adding 100 more in April! Marquette was released in 2006 by the University of Minnesota. Marquette changed the game for northern grape growers because it was the first real success in breeding a fantastic wine grape. This dark purple grape makes wine that can give a good Burgundy a run for its money. Marquette can produce a wine style similar to a Pinot Noir.
